After a nice day at the canyon, April and I drove down past Kekaha Town to the end of the road at Polihale Beach. Some history: Two summers ago, on April's first visit to Kauai, I took her to Polihale Beach, and we fell in love with the place, and with each other... don't laugh! It's true!!! It was very appropriate for us to visit this beach again to celebrate our first year together. We brought ahi poki, crackers, and Brie cheese. We laid out a blanket and watched the sunset.
